Actually, I'm just going to refrain from writing about my trip to the DMZ until I'm back in Canada.
If you know me well enough, you'll understand why this is a good idea.
We met a lovely German girl while on our tour with
DMZ Tours, who were absolutely amazing by the way for helping us not only book the tour last minute but also with assisting us on getting there easily, and when returned to Seoul we all went out for a late lunch. Unfortunately The Beastro was not open to my absolute dismay, but down the street
이로리, a Japanese style restaurant, was! Word to the wise, always ask the size of the plate before ordering; I almost ordered the plate below AND a plate of rice. The rice definitely would have went to waste, I barely finished this. Delicious chicken tempura and these little sort of tater-tot things, with a sweet chilli sauce and a light salad with a creamy, yet spicy, dressing.
Marta shared the plate below with our new friend Brigitte!
WE'RE NOW HEADED FOR THE AIRPORT TO TOKYO!
